Archery:International Archery Federation The International Archery Federation (FITA) is a member of the Federation of International Federations (FIS), founded in 1931 and headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland. There are currently 142 members of the Federation, which belong to the regional federations of Africa, America, Asia, Europe and Oceania recognized by FITA.

The mission of the FIA is to promote archery in a spirit consistent with the Olympic principles. The mission of FIA is to promote the development of archery in the world in a spirit consistent with Olympic principles, to establish and interpret the constitution and regulations of the organization, to organize world championships, and to recognize and maintain world and Olympic records. FIA's main competitions are the World Championships, the European Championships and other international competitions.

FIA has specialized committees such as the Technical Committee, the Target Archery Committee, the Ski Archery Committee, the Medical Committee, the Development and Technical Assistance Committee, the Constitution and Rules Committee, the Field Archery Committee, the Judges Committee, the Athletes Committee and the Coaches Committee, as well as an Arbitration Committee. There is also an Arbitration Committee. FIA's main competitions are the World Championships, European Championships and other international competitions.
