Franck sold his advertising agency in 1996 and established his own consumer brand, TechnoMarine. Dubarry founded TechnoMarine in 1997 at the age of 36. Franck has always had a passion for watches. Although he is not a professional watchmaker, with his keen market sense and passion for fashion, he identified a market gap in the watch industry: between high-end luxury watches and affordable trendy brands, there is a lack of mid-priced watches, which is equivalent to Cartier and Sotheby's. It was the same as the lack of choice between Cartier and Swatch. So TechnoMarine's first model, the Raft, was launched in 1997 at only US$250, opening up a whole new sector of the watch industry: the concept of the "leisure watch" was born, and opened a revolutionary page in the watch industry.

Raft", with its combination of Chrono and transparent plastic strap, attracted 50,000 customers within one year. In order to extend the life of "Raft", Franck Dubarry added a new diamond element in 1999, and "TechnoDiamond" was born. The TechnoDiamond is not only a great design, it is also a symbol of fashion, expressing everyone's unique personality.
