University of Lausanne (French: Université de Lausanne, UNIL) is a historic university in Switzerland, its history can be traced back to the creation of Schola Lausannensis in 1573, officially upgraded to a university in 1890. The University of Lausanne has the School of Theology and Religious Studies, the School of Law and Justice, the School of Arts, and the Lausanne Higher School of Business.
