The Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU), founded in 1977, is the best agricultural university in Sweden and Scandinavia, with 290 teachers (including more than 140 professors), nearly 2,700 students, and a library of 8,000 books. There are three faculties: the Faculty of Agriculture, the Faculty of Forestry, and the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
