Aday:Shoot today to inspire tomorrow's fund Aday is the official website of a Swedish non-profit foundation, which aims to create, share and inspire perspectives on everyday life, today and tomorrow, through the power of photography.

This project was developed by the Swedish non-profit foundation Expressions of Humankind, with the support of a highly respected global advisory board and a special scientific committee.

Whether professional, amateur, school children, farmers, social media enthusiasts, astronauts, office workers or yourself, whether mobile, Hasselblad, domestic or borrowed cameras, we are discovering the world as seen through the eyes of everyone who enjoys photography.

All photos will be put online for you and everyone else to explore. Some of the photos will be selected for inclusion in A Day In the World, which will be published in October 2012, while others will be exhibited in published works or digital works exhibitions. Each photograph will be preserved for future research and inspiration. These photographs will never be used for commercial purposes.

Each participant in this project is asked to express three main categories and to photograph around them: family, work and relationships. But it's up to you to decide when to upload and which category your photos best fit into.

Family: Photos that relate to where and how you or others live.

Work: Photos that relate to where and how you or others work.

Connections:Photos related to everything that connects us to each other, such as community, technology, family, energy, faith, culture, politics, and lifestyle.
