Örebro University (Örebro Universitet), Sweden's national comprehensive university, was founded in 1999 and awarded the title of "University" by the government, located in Örebro, with behavioral, social and legal science departments. The University of Örebro has seven faculties, including the Faculty of Swedish Business, the Faculty of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences, the Faculty of Music, the Faculty of Hospitality, Culinary Arts and Scientific Food, the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, and the Faculty of Science and Technology.
