SEGA (SEGA) is a Japanese video game company founded in 1954 and headquartered in Tokyo, now a subsidiary of the SEGA Sigma Group. SEGA's business used to include the production of game console hardware and the development of corresponding game software, and in 2001 withdrew from the home game console hardware business, and has now transformed into a game software developer.
