"Weekly Shonen Jump" is the most widely distributed serialized manga magazine in Japan, and the first of the three major Japanese weekly juvenile manga magazines, the other two being and. The magazine was launched in 1968 (Showa 43) on July 11, affiliated with, Jump pirates as its mascot. In addition, the Chinese version of "Weekly Teen Jump" is Taiwan's "Baojima Teen" and Hong Kong's "EX-am Weekly" respectively.
