Tokyo Electric Power (TEPCO, Tokyo Electric Power Co., Ltd., or TEPCO) is Japan's largest power generation and supply company, founded in 1951 and headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. TEPCO is mainly engaged in fossil fuel power generation, and also owns nuclear, hydroelectric, wind and thermal power stations. In the 2013 World Top 500 ranking, Tokyo Electric Power Company was ranked 117th.
