Kashima Antlers (Kashima アントラーズ, KASHIMA ANTLERS) is a Japanese professional soccer club, its predecessor is Sumitomo Metal Industry Football Division, founded in Osaka in 1947, Kashima Antlers was formally established in 1974, to participate in the then B Division. Kashima Antlers' home stadium is Ibaraki Prefectural Kashima Football Stadium, which can accommodate about 40,000 spectators. Kashima Antlers is the most successful club in history, winning the championship seven times (as of 2014).
