Hitotsubashi University (Japanese: ひとつばしだい It is a national university located in the city of Tokyo, Japan. Hitotsubashi University is one of the first universities in Japan to be established as a comprehensive university of purely social sciences. It was formerly known as the Tokyo Government Commercial School, one of the three major commercial schools.
