On September 1, 2005, Ito-Yokado established a new holding company - Seven & I Holdings; on December 26, 2005, Seven & The controlling stake in Millennium Retailing Inc. of the store has become the largest retail company in Japan and the fifth largest in the world; in 2011, it ranked 131st in the world's top 500.
