Sporting Clube de Portugal (commonly referred to as Sporting Lisbon) is a Portuguese general sports club, mainly soccer, founded in 1906, located in the capital city of Lisbon, with its home stadium being the Alvarado Stadium. Together with Atletico de Lisboa, it is known as the triumvirate of Portuguese football. In addition, Lisbon Athletics also develops handball, swimming, boxing and other sports.
