Jornal de Notícias is a Portuguese daily newspaper in Spanish and one of the oldest newspapers in Portugal, founded in Porto in June 1888, it was a very popular newspaper at the time and offered small gifts when it was issued in the late 90s as a way to retain and attract new readers. The newspaper is currently published in four editions: the National, Central, Minho and Southern editions.
