The University of Prince Edward Island (UPEI) was formed in 1969 by the merger of StDundstan's University and Prince of Wales College. The University of Prince Edward Island tuition fees are extremely cheap, and is currently one of the fifth lowest tuition public universities in Canada. In addition, Prince Edward Island is a low cost province with one of the highest quality of life in Canada. There is an International Student Office with a dedicated advisor to welcome international students to the University of Prince Edward Island and provide them with priority services.
