The Van Gogh Museum was built in 1973 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The museum houses 200 of Van Gogh's most valuable paintings from his golden age, accounting for 1/4 of his works, hundreds of drawings (some say thousands), and almost all of Van Gogh's letters, the most famous of which are "The Crow" and "Sunflowers".
