The Royal Institute of Tropical Studies (KIT) is an independent research center of expertise in the Netherlands, established in 1910 in the capital Amsterdam to study international and cross-cultural cooperation, with master's degrees, short-term training and other study programs, including health development, international health, public health -AIDS, change and financing in the health sector, improvement of health quality in low- and middle-income countries, and community-based rational health promotion.
