Korea Post (Korea Post) Korea Post is a public utility in Korea, established on July 1, 2000 and headquartered in Sejong Special Self-Governing City, Korea, whose main business includes postal, postal savings and insurance services[2]. Korea Post was formerly under the control of the Ministry of Knowledge Economy of Korea.

After Park Geun-hye's administrative reform in 2013, Korea Post was placed under the management of the Ministry of Future Creation Science, which is mainly responsible for postal services, postal banking, and insurance services, namely: basic postal (letter and parcel) services, additional postal (registered mail, trading goods, etc.) services, postal storage, postal money order, postal transfer, and postal insurance. In 1900, Korea joined the Universal Postal Union. Currently, Korea Post has about 42,000 employees, 3,692 post offices, 22 sorting centers and 1 exchange center, and delivers about 4.975 billion pieces of mail annually.
