Founded in 1952, Chonnam University is a national university of the Republic of Korea. The origin of Jeonnam University is 1909, its predecessor is Gwangju Agricultural University, Jeonnam National University was established in June 1954, ranked 4th in the evaluation of national universities in Korea by research departments, the university's key training areas include life sciences, culture and arts, information and communication technology, NT, energy technology, and the promotion of automotive engineering.
