Gyeongsang National University was founded in 1948 as a major national university in Jinju City, Gyeongsangnam-do, Korea, and is an institution of higher learning with a total area of more than 1.65 million square meters consisting of three campuses. There are more than 750 professors, 400 staff members, and 20,000 students. The university has 12 colleges, 8 graduate schools, and 19 research institutes (institutes).
