National Gongju University (Kongju National University; 국립공주대학교) is a famous institution of higher learning in central Korea and the only national university in Chungcheongnam-do, established in 1948 as Gongju Teachers' University and awarded by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Justice of Korea in 2014. In 2014, it was awarded the title of IEQAS by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Justice.
