Korea Central University (중앙대학교 / Central University) is a prestigious private university in Korea, founded on April 1, 1918. Currently, the overall competitiveness of the Central University ranked 11th in Korea (2015), including the Department of Journalism, Department of Drama, Department of Film and Photography is the most prestigious, ranking first in the same disciplines in all Korean universities. Among them, the Department of Drama and Film and the Graduate School of Advanced Imaging are the highest research institutions of drama, performance and film arts in Korea.
