Seoul National University (formerly known as Seoul National University) is the first comprehensive ranking of Korea, Asia's top higher education institutions, but also the longest history of Korea's national comprehensive university, its predecessor for the old Capital Empire University, renamed Seoul National University in 1946. The current Secretary General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon and a number of Korean presidents have come from Seoul National University.
