Daekyeung University (Daekyeung University; 대경대학) was established in 1992 as the first specialized university in Korea, located in Gyeongsan, Gyeongsangbuk-do, east of Daegu, and accredited by the Chinese Ministry of Education. The university's main specialties are optical optics, early childhood education, decoration and display, drama and film, musical, film broadcasting production, performing arts and performance directing, and nursing.
