Samsung Heavy Industries (Samsung Heavy Industries; Korean: 삼성중공업) is a subsidiary of Korea's largest corporation, and one of the three largest shipbuilders in Korea, and a leader in the global shipbuilding field. It is one of the top three shipbuilders in Korea and a global leader in shipbuilding, capable of building 10 ships and receiving 30 shipbuilding orders per year. In China, Samsung Heavy Industries has branch plants in Ningbo, Zhejiang and Rongcheng, Shandong.
