The Finnish Design Museum is one of the most important design museums in Finland. The museum was built in 1873, during World War II the exhibits were looted by the enemy, in 1978 the Finnish government re-established the Design Museum in a building located in the center of Helsinki.

Marianne Aavo, curator of the Design Museum Aav (Marianne Aav) said: every year the Museum of Design will probably hold 10-15 exhibitions.
