Helsinki University of Applied Sciences (Metropolia Ammattikorkeakoulu) is a leading Finnish university, formed by the merger of Espoo-Vanta Institute of Technology and Helsinki Institute of Technology on August 1, 2008, accredited by the Chinese Ministry of Education. It is dedicated to teaching and research in the fields of technology, health care and social services, economics and business administration, and culture, offering undergraduate and master's degree programs, as well as a number of open learning programs.
