Briat State University (Бурятский государственный университет) is a large teaching, research and cultural center in Eastern Siberia, founded in 1995 and located in the center of Ulan-Ude, the capital of the Republic of Briat, with three faculties, 65 teaching and research laboratories, and four scientific laboratories. It has 3 faculties, 65 teaching and research departments, 4 scientific laboratories, and is mainly engaged in research and teaching in the fields of natural sciences, technology, humanities, and medicine.
