Penza State University is a leading Russian institution of higher education, formerly known as Penza State Technical Institute, established in 1943, and later changed its name to the present one on January 22, 1998, accredited by the Chinese Ministry of Education. It has 11 departments, including the Department of Machine Manufacturing, Department of Automation and Information Technology, Department of Equipment Manufacturing, Department of Computer Technology, Department of Natural Science, Department of Radio Technology, Department of Economics and Management, and Department of Law.
