Medizinische Universität Innsbruck (Austrian Public Medical University), the largest teaching and research institution in western Austria, was founded in 1669 and rebuilt on January 1, 2004, in Innsbruck, Tyrol. It has trained three Nobel Prize winners in chemistry and has cooperated with many famous universities abroad, including Chulalongkorn University.
