brief introduction

Miniatur Wunderland is a model railroad exhibition center with models of many locations around the world and nearly 16,000 meters of railroad track. Founded in 2000 by twins Frederik and Gerrit Braun, Miniatur Wunderland is a richly detailed project with a sense of wonder and fantasy.

The World of Miniature Landscapes is now one of the most popular tourist attractions in Germany. Many of the places you'll explore on this site are not normally open to the general public. Take a tour of the miniature street scenes and see the world of miniature landscapes up close.

In Miniatur Wunderland is home to the world's largest miniature railroad landscape, with 13,000 kilometers of "miles" and over 200,000 "residents" in its coverage area. During the tour, you will pass by attractions such as the fictional town of Knuffingen, the Alps (the Swiss part), Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon and the operational (more than 30 planes) Hamburg Airport.

According to the presentation, Miniatur Wunderland is planning to include England, France and Africa in its "territory" in the next five years, and in the coming months, the miniature view of Italy will be officially opened to the public. []
