In 1965, Craghoppers began making clothing specifically for outdoor design. A group of men in West Yorkshire were planning to climb Mount Everest and wanted equipment that could withstand the harshest conditions, so they researched and designed fabrics that would protect them from the extreme cold. All that preparation paid off when they made it to Mount Everest. This was the birth of Craghoppers.
