FC Kaiserslautern (Kaiserslautern) is a German professional soccer club founded in 1900, with a home stadium of the Fritz-Walter Stadium, which can accommodate about 50,000 spectators. In 1997, Kaiserslautern was promoted from the German Bundesliga and won the Bundesliga championship that season, creating the famous "Kaiserslautern myth".
