The University of Bonn, known as Friedrich Wilhelm University Bonn-Rein, is located in Bonn, the former capital of West Germany in central Germany, and was founded in 1818. The University now has eight faculties, namely: Christian Theological Seminary, Catholic Theological Seminary, Faculty of Law and Economics, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Philosophy, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Faculty of Agriculture and Faculty of Education.
