brief introduction

Arhoj:Interior illustration design work The website is a personal site of Danish illustrator Anders Arhoj, an interior designer who brings a great sense of humor to ceramics, prints and other visual works.

With the exception of one year in Japan, Anders has spent the last ten years of his life in the country. The rest of the time Anders has made Copenhagen his home. The Danish people are famous for hygge art (hygge is a Danish word that means calm and comfortable, and also represents an attitude of living close to nature), and the interior space often gives people a sense of warmth and comfort, easy to get close to, and this is very important for Anders who considers his guests and customers (including himself).

Hygge means that the rooms have strict floor lamps (no top-down chandeliers) and incorporate plants, books, soft fabrics and natural materials such as logs or wool. However, he is fond of the modern Scandinavian style of the 1850s, with its mix of textiles, ethnic knick-knacks and vintage collectibles, and he likes to buy old things with history and character.
