Vestas Wind Systems A/S (Vestas) is one of the world's largest manufacturers of wind power equipment, founded in 1945 and headquartered in Lannes, Denmark. Vestas began manufacturing wind turbines in 1979 and merged with NEG Micon in 2003 to form Vestas Wind Systems A/S.
