The Federal Savings Bank of Brazil is one of the largest state-owned financial institutions in Latin America. Founded on January 12, 1861, it is the second largest bank in Brazil, after the Bank of Brazil, and serves thousands of Brazilian cities and towns, ranking third in Brazil in terms of the number of branches.
