(INPE for short) is a research unit under the Brazilian Ministry of Science and Technology. INPE is a research unit of the Brazilian Ministry of Science and Technology, first established in 1961, located in São José dos Campos, São Paulo State, mainly engaged in research, application and development of space science, atmospheric science, Earth observation and space technology.
