The Western Australian Art Gallery is a museum of art in Perth, Western Australia, Australia. It is located in the cultural center of Perth and the North Bridge of the art center. It is located near the Western Australia Museum and the Western Australia State Library. The Western Australian Art Gallery opened in 1979.
Since 2012, the Art Gallery of Western Australia has been collaborating with MoMA, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, and is the only art gallery in Australia to do so. From June 2012 to mid-2015, six exhibitions of world-renowned artworks will be exhibited here, such as "From Picasso to Warhol" in 2012, "Van Gogh, Dali and Beyond: The World Reimagined" in 2013.
