The Cairns Post is a local newspaper dedicated to Northern Queensland, established in 1883, and the largest newspaper in Cairns, providing local, continental, national and international news covering sport, entertainment, economy, motoring and lifestyle. In 2013, the Cairns Post received a regional newspaper award from the Pacific Area Newspaper Publishers Association (PANPA).
