brief introduction

Emirates:Emirates Airline is the Emirates is the official international airline of the United Arab Emirates and one of the world's most powerful airlines, established in 1985 with the world's youngest fleet of award-winning aircraft.

On October 25, 1985, Emirates Emirates made its inaugural flight from Dubai with a Boeing 737 and an Airbus 300 B4. After the first few years in regional travel, Emirates is rapidly developing into the world's most influential travel and tourism group due to its commitment to achieving the highest quality in all aspects of its business.

Emirates' fleet currently consists of more than 220 aircraft flying to more than 140 destinations in over 80 countries and continues to expand. Nearly 1,500 flights depart from Dubai every week on six continents.

In 2005, Emirates announced its largest ever order for Boeing 777s (42 aircraft) in a deal worth 35.7 billion dirhams (Dhs), equivalent to $9.7 billion.

At the 2006 Farnborough Airshow, Emirates signed a letter of intent for 10 new Boeing 747-8F airliners (GEnx jet engines with General Electric) worth US$3.3 billion.

At the Dubai Airshow in November 2007, Emirates announced a historic civil aircraft order for 120 Airbus A350s, 11 A380s and 12 Boeing 777-300ERs, valued at approximately US$34.9 billion. The purchase includes 120 Airbus A350s, 11 A380s and 12 Boeing 777-300ERs, valued at US$34.9 billion. In this agreement with Airbus, Emirates has confirmed the purchase of 50 A350-900s, 20 A350-1000s and possibly another 50 A350-900s. The first A350 will be delivered to Emirates in 2015, and the airline has significantly increased its orders for new aircraft in 2010 in line with its strategic growth plans. In June, at the Berlin Airshow, Emirates announced orders for an additional 32 A380 Airbus aircraft, and in July, at the Farnborough Airshow, it announced orders for an additional 30 Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. The total value of the order is US$13.4 billion.

With its incredible growth, Emirates is now the world's largest provider of Airbus A380s and Boeing 777s.

As of June 2014, Emirates has ordered more than 300 passenger aircraft, worth approximately $138 billion. We have the youngest and most modern fleet of commercial airliners in the world, a strength that will help us achieve our goal of making Dubai an integrated global long-haul hub sooner rather than later.
