ColdPlay: The British Coldplay Band ColdPlay is one of the most popular rock bands to emerge from the British rock scene into the new century.

Influenced by some of rock's pioneers, Coldplay's members began their career as teenagers. Coldplay members picked up instruments and started playing music as teenagers, and with members coming from ordinary working families, Coldplay's early music style was reminiscent of Radio Head, Jeff Buckley, U2 and Travis.
